Use the SEARCH OPTIONS to select information on the product related to the

• Product category
• Manufacturer
• Country where it is available
• If PVC free 

and press the SEARCH button

If you are a Manufacturer

Visit the I AM A MANUFACTURER field on the top bar in the HOMEPAGE and create an account:

• Enter an email address and a password
• Enter company information

*For details regarding the information that should be provided and the format it should be provided in, one should hover over the name and explanations will show up

An email will be received requesting the verification of the email account.

Once the user has confirmed that it is a valid email, HCWH will verify the user information and grant approval.

If you are a Producer

Visit the I AM A PROCURER field on the top bar in the HOMEPAGE and create an account:

• Enter an email address and a password
• Enter company information

An email will be received requesting the verification of the email account.

Once the user has confirmed that it is a valid email, HCWH will verify the user information and grant approval

Go to MY DEVICES and see

One product

Click the ADD NEW DEVICE/PRODUCT button on the right and manually by filling in the fields (choose from the dropdown or insert new)

More products

Click DOWNLOAD file at the bottom of the page. Complete the excel file following the instructions and send it via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Use the SEARCH button to look for the product

Select the product by ticking the product box on the left and click the EDIT button

In the EDIT DEVICE DETAILS menu fill in the correct information and click SAVE and CLOSE

Use the SEARCH button to look for the product

Select the product by ticking the product box on the left and click the DELET button

Add new comment

Go to HOME after log in

Use the SEARCH button to look for a specific product

Click the ADD COMMENT field in the product line

Edit existing comment

Go to MY COMMENTS

Use the search field to search for the comment

Select the comment by ticking the box on the left and click the EDIT button

Fill in the correct information in the pop up box and click SAVE

The Global Medical Device Nomenclature (GMDN) is a system of internationally agreed generic descriptors used to identify all medical device products. The GMDN meets the need to identify medical devices at the global level.

Information in the form of a 5-digit numeric GMDN Code is cross-referenced to a Term Name and Definition, with which all specific medical devices having substantially similar generic features, can be identified. It is based on the international standard ISO 15225.

CODE A unique numerical five-digit number.

DEFINITION A generic description of the scope of the term, which includes the intended use(s).

CATEGORY The highest device level to which a preferred term has been linked. All preferred terms have at least one linked category.
